Recently NASA wind tunnel testing has confirmed what many eccentric aerospace engineers have been saying for decades. And that's blended wing body aircraft as much as 30% efficient due to lower drag coefficients. Some may think that the flying wing concept is something totally new and still under investigation we find innovative designs and prototypes that go back decades.

And also some really old stuff, dating way back to World War II and Jack Northrop. And if you really want to call and ask the hard efficiency the flying wing and the design is too early here, you will throw for a loop, the Egyptians had pictures of what appeared to be those winged aircraft in their walls.

So maybe this idea is not really NEW. Blended wings are very worried about. If you look at a boomerang, or watch a flat object it is running on the way down. And let us not shake problems that can occur with flying wings forget as well, especially flying in an atmosphere with micro bursts, thunderstorms and near airports with lots of wake turbulence too.

Fortunately we have learned much from the flying wing day of the 50's and 60's and the current B-2 bombers and that we might be able to really take that knowledge and do better. Eg aircraft, which fly wings like this mock-up digitally enhanced image of a flying airplane;

A flying wing has many other fun aspects. That much certainly plays wing for Eddy vortex lift and use. One would think that many people who design these things are missing from other cool aspects are possible. Thus, the thrust vectoring jets on just below the cg at the top of the wings and put the plane into a high angle 35-40 degrees, and thus you have the energy at the cg push against the top of the wing instead of thrust pushing the underside of the wing as most designs show. You could have a very short takeoff rolls and very efficiently climb outs. The rates would climb significantly to stay clear of noise sensitive areas around airports.

Another problem is that people like to look out of the plane, so it might be wise for passenger aircraft where the passenger in the belly of the wing now drove with windows to a Virtual or Augmented Reality games on the exterior walls of the cabin in big screens so that passengers would feel if you sit on the cloud and so pleasant for the people, all people seem like a Closter phobic effect and combine it with air sickness was not so good. Think on this.

Rob & Jon take off RC turbine jets

Wingspan: 10sq m thrust: calculated lift 44 pounds: 157 pounds my questions is what is the max weight this RC Jet?

can someone help me calculate this? I want to know what the maximum weight of this RC jet can be used to select materials and as you might swap a larger turbine. but I know very little when it comes to actual physics of aerospace. so please help? Thanks! Also if anyone can tell me how to calculate, so I can learn to calculate it myself?

Weight = lift for horizontal fly, so you are going to want to be under 157 pounds or you can not abandon the land,
