This excludes the cost of the body of the airplane, radio station equipment, actuators, and all other necessary components to fly the aircraft. In contrast, a complete set of EDF jet-powered aircraft costs only one hundred seventy U.S. dollars at the minimum.
Perhaps the best RC flying toys that you wish to have are those are powered by gas turbines. This is the cream of the crop when it comes to jet-powered RC toy. This particular engine uses fans, fuel injectors, combustion chambers and turbines much like a real jet turbine. It gives hobbyists a sense, sound and power of a real fighter jet.
