The best scale RC planes
Some of the best scale remote control planes, jets and helicopters that are currently available from the toy giant. Many remote pilots today will build on a large scale fly remote control airplanes simply because of the great fun. Some even go as far as investing thousands of dollars and many hours in the preparation of their giant remote control aircraft for races like the full-scale aerobatic competition aircraft.
To be able to these giant remote control aircraft flying in a contest or just for recreation, you must practice to increase your control and maneuverability. You should also note that these planes tend to have larger engines, more and stronger servo function and are usually more expensive than your typical remote control airplane.
Giant remote control airplanes can be composed of a kit or a set of plans, while some are available as ARF for those who do not have the patience or time to build their aircraft from scratch. Large-scale giant remote control aircraft can cost as much as $ 10,000, including the motor and electronics. These aircraft will commonly include duplicates of everything, including two batteries, 2 receivers, and multiple servos on each control surface. This allows the remote control aircraft to land safely in case one of these components fails.
Giant scale remote control airplanes are generally comparable to the micro-electronics and aircraft. However, most large aircraft operated remote control by gasoline engines, as opposed to the Micros which tend nitro-powered engines. Their high torque servos are necessary to any control surface to resist the enormous stress caused by extra weight and size of this giant remote control aircraft. When it comes to treatment of giant remote control aircraft, additional caution is required when a crash can be costly and dangerous. Stay tuned for our next chapter in RC Helicopters.

RC jet engine test
thrust and lift question?
I am wanting to possibly build a Cri Cri jet plane or a small jet. I've looked at homemade jet turbo diesel and jet rc, but I've been thinking about making my own. How can I find out how much wing area / lift, and I must I need to put my (x) the amount of weight to get into the air? thanks for any help or insight anyone can give:)
I think you miss the lift is generated. Lift is a result of the airflow over the wings, it is not produced by the engine in a fixed wing aircraft. The amount of thrust you need depends on the performance you want. You brought a cri-cri. Designed to run on two small engines Weed Eater, between the two of them you might three horse power to get if you use the biggest baddest Weedeater engines out there. Who are unable to much thrust at all, but the plane is light, and the performance requirements are low. All you need is enough thrust to get up the speed a plane where the wings lift will be greater than the weight of the aircraft. If you want to get off the ground in a shorter distance you need more thrust. If you want to climb, you need more. You should know that plans for a CRI-CRI not been sold since the year 1970, you can still get ahold of the plans, but it will not be easy, and they will probably French. You're much better off buying a used aircraft after it is thoroughly inspected by a mechanic familiar with the aircraft. The turbo jet engine works, but they are very unreliable, burning too much fuel, have cooling problems, they are heavy, the list of why you do not want them on a plane is infinite. I have one built, I got a turbo from a junkyard and took some plans I found online. It was a nice little project, but it was not reliable and efficient. Rc engines are what you would use if you want to build something. You can also look at military turbine generators.
