Walter Herschel Beech did not get success without a lot of trouble. An avid pilot since childhood, Beech always wanted to fly and he was able to achieve its goal if quickly in his career when he and the Curtiss Airplane Company and flew airplanes for them. Then he joined the army and further refined his skills lying there. After his discharge from the army, Mr. Beech worked in a few other aircraft companies. This was when he decided to launch his maiden venture.
Together with a pilot named Lloyd Stearman, and a flight engineer named Clyde Cessna, he began what was then known as the Travel Air Company. The plane that the Travel Air Company built over the years were widespread valued and rewarded by one and all. They also participated in numerous flying competitions and won. The Travel Air Company had Curtiss Wright aircraft engines and they were valued partners. This partnership would be a long and fruitful collaboration for both partners.
Just before the recession began, the Travel Air Company merged with the Curtiss Wright Company and led to Mr Beech becoming the president of the company. But the depression had not left many contracts for the company and soon Mr. Beech began work on another company of his own. He then developed the Model 17 aircraft and it was a fantastic five seat sedan with a top speed of 200 miles was one hour.
When the recession ended, the demand for planes and picked up the newly started Beech Aircraft Corporation, also a favorite among consumers. The Staggerwing, as the new model was 17 was called a favorite among consumers that its models were sold in large quantities during the day. The Beech Aircraft Company has since been producing some of the best aircraft for America. Not only then, their planes are still flying around the world in as good condition and they are still available for sale on the internet too.
There are some beautiful aircraft available on the Internet which is the same company. You can just find a lot of different aircraft still flies worthy.
