The pre-solo maneuvers, the first requirement for your Private Pilot License. There are a number of requirements needed before you make your first solo. Now in many cases I will move on Item solo requirements as someone not quite ready to solo yet. I do this because I did not intend to enter the traffic pattern with someone for five additional flights down to get their supply. Incandescent lights and my goal is to give you a license and a safe / competent driver at the time of your flight test. Also I want you in your budget.
Many teachers and schools will not advance until you solo'ed I think this is a complete waste of money. For this reason, some people say that the pre solo phase is the most expensive. If I see someone who has 40 hours, has no solo and on top of that has not done the cross country, Soft Field / Short Field takeoffs and landings at night or simulated instrument time, the only thing I can think of is that poor student got ripped off.
The main reason why people do not solo is not of their supply. So why not get the instructor to move forward. You must make Soft Field / Short Field takeoffs and landings, 10 night takeoffs and landings, Double Cross Country (Yes More landings). This is usually enough time for the landing (Lightbulb) will fires.
Here I have listed the Pre Solo Requirements for you. Remember there are two parts Aeronautical Engineering Aeronautical Knowledge and Experience.
(A) General. A student pilot may not operate an aircraft in solo flight unless that student has met the requirements of this section.
(B) The aeronautical authorities. A student pilot must demonstrate adequate aeronautical authorities on a knowledge test that meets the requirements of this paragraph:
(1) The test must address the student pilot knowledge of-
(I) applicable sections of parts 61 and 91 of this chapter; (FAR S)
(Ii) Airspace rules and procedures the airport where the solo flight will be conducted, and
(Iii) Flight characteristics and operational limitations for the make and model of aircraft to fly.
(2) Students authorized instructor must-
(I) Administer the test, and
(Ii) at the end of the test, review all incorrect answers with the student before the student to perform a solo flight.
(C) Pre-solo flight. Prior to the execution of a solo flight, a student pilot must have:
(1) received and logged flight training for the maneuvers and procedures of this section that are suitable for the make and model of aircraft to fly, and
(2) Proven satisfactory proficiency and safety, as assessed by an approved instructor, on the maneuvers and procedures required by this section in the make and model of aircraft or similar make and model of aircraft to be flown.
(D) maneuvers and procedures for pre-solo flight training in a single-engine aircraft. A student pilot who had trained for a single-engine airplane rating or privileges must receive and log flight training for the following maneuvers and procedures:
(1) Proper flight preparation procedures, including preflight planning and preparation, engine control, and aircraft systems;
(2) and the surface taxiing, including runups;
(3) Starts and landings, including normal and crosswind;
(4) Law and level flight, and turns in both directions;
(5) climbs and climbing turns;
(6) Airport traffic patterns, including entry and departure procedures;
(7) collision avoidance, windshear avoidance, and wake turbulence avoidance;
(8) runs, with and without turns, using high-and low drag configurations;
(9) Flight at various airspeeds from cruise flight to slow;
(10) Stall entries from various flight attitudes and power combinations with recovery initiated at the first indication of a stall, and recovery of a full house;
(11) Emergency procedures and defects to the equipment;
(12) Ground reference maneuvers level;
(13) Approaches to a landing with simulated engine malfunctions;
(14) Slips a landing, and
(15) Go-arounds.
All of the above areas should be covered and documented in your log. And it must be stamped by a Certified Flight Instructor. Yes I have seen people who have gone with their friends and their friends have signed their logs. These areas can only be given by a certified flight instructor (CFI).

Comparatively, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the F-15 and F-16 fighter jets?
They're both unbelievable, I know, but what sets one over the other and that they would be shot down first or the latest models of each were to participate in a dogfight?
Viper routinely Eagles fight in air battles. Eagles just do not have the constant G which is a Viper. Think of Eagles as interceptors, with pretty good agility, and Vipers as a knife-fighters, good analogy as any. Understand me wrong, when I was in the E-models in air-to-air Eagles would routinely Schwacke us. Eagles actually occur eyeball range missions where possible. They like high at approximately FL390-400 Slammers and throw in everything that is not squawking. This is very good, especially when the skies clearing for a strike package as I was in the Weasel. Eagle RCS as frickin 'a barn, Viper much smaller. Same visual signature. From personal experience, Vipers are damn hard to see, cranial aspect. The whole thing is really separate single-engined Vice academic. I that the MTBF about the same, you really are twice as likely to have to give an eagle as a Viper engine. Speed is life, but in a furball, everybody talks about -1.1 0.8 Mach. What it gives you the opportunity to participate or separate at will. Top speed of the Eagle's is actually for listening, and they have no weapons hanging on the pylons, which is what they are really compliant fuselage hardpoints for.
