1. If you're flying abroad, do not stay up late the night before and what you do, do not sleep late the morning you leave. A few days before you leave, thinking about getting to bed earlier if you must travel east or go to bed later if you travel west. And do not wait until just before you go to pack, get done early.
2. Clicking on an international trip you are fed up when the crew is ready to do this. Do not give in and eat at a time when you should eat when you arrive. When it's time for a meal at your destination, you can eat otherwise, skip. Upon arrival, if eating time, eating, even if a small amount will help. Get on the local schedule the food as soon as possible.
3. Run your own snacks with you when you fly. The crew of an airplane food is served according to local time at your destination. When you try to get your body and especially your belly used on the local time, starting as soon as you board. Another good reason to bring snacks if you have a connection and it is in another country, you do not waste time or money trying to get your money converted into local currency just to get something to eat or drink now.
4. Many times people think they are suffering from jet lag, but it's really just dehydration. Airlines keep moisture to a minimum on the plane, so the air can be very dry. Continue away from anything with caffeine and alcohol, but drink lots of water, even if you force yourself.
5. The first day at your destination may be the worst, but force yourself to maintain the local time. Not go to bed sooner or later, choose a bedtime and stick to it. A nap during the day sounds great, but not to surrender. The sooner you do this does the faster you start feeling normal again.
6. If you need to find a sleeping aide to take a trip abroad, do not take it the first time you fly. Try them in a week or two before you leave. You must know how they affect you before you take off. The last thing you want is to get somewhere and not awake enough to know what is around you. That's a good way to overcharging, miss a connection or even robbed. Stay alert. Try melatonin, it is a natural sleep aide, there are no side effects and does not cause drowsiness, it helps you just fall asleep. Can melatonin in most drug stores and most Wal-Marts, too. There is even evidence that taking 1 to 3 milligrams of melatonin just before bed for a few nights after arrival may reduce the effects of jet lag as well.
7. Get up and move when you fly as much as possible. Try and book an aisle seat so you do not constantly climbing over your seat mate. Aircraft seats are small and if you're in a narrow space for long periods, the blood flow. Even try exercises, there are examples in the in-flight magazines or look on the Internet before you leave. Wear shoes with laces or flip flops if you travel in the summer because your feet may swell during long flights.
8. And finally wear comfortable clothing. There is nothing worse than tight clothes if you try to sleep on a flight. You're not on a catwalk, loose and light clothing is best. If the winter wear layers so you can take off what you do not need the plane. Some excellent points to consider are a mask, earplugs and maybe a neck pillow. You want to arrive as fresh as possible and ready for some fun in a remote location.
